E-Invoicing for SMEs

UAE E-Invoicing for SMEs, without unnecessary complexity.

Business Company is the LexaBills option for UAE businesses that want to create and manage invoices directly. An existing ERP is not required. Start with your company information, identify your invoice volume and choose the commercial option that suits the way you work.

Can a small business use E-Invoicing without ERP integration?

Yes. LexaBills offers direct invoicing through Business Company, so an SME does not need to implement an ERP just to choose that workflow. If invoices already originate in an accounting or ERP system, assess integration instead of maintaining the same information twice.

How can I prepare my business for UAE E-Invoicing?

Start with your actual invoicing process, not a software purchase. Confirm which transactions are in scope and who will own invoice preparation and review. Then prepare the company details used in onboarding.

  • Collect the trade licence, legal company name and tax-registration details where applicable.
  • Review customer details, invoice numbering, tax treatment and credit-note handling.
  • Estimate monthly invoice volume and seasonal peaks before choosing an allowance.
  • Confirm the relevant deadline and arrangements with an Accredited Service Provider.

Should I choose a subscription or LexaFlex?

A subscription suits a predictable invoice workload. Annual plans start at AED 950.40 billed per year. LexaFlex costs AED 11.00 per invoice with no subscription, which may suit occasional invoicing. Compare the allowance and full billing charge, not only the displayed monthly equivalent.

When does UAE E-Invoicing become mandatory?

For businesses in scope, the mandatory date depends on annual revenue. The deadline to appoint an Accredited Service Provider (ASP) comes first.

What is the E-Invoicing deadline for companies with AED 50 million or more in revenue?

Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026. Mandatory E-Invoicing begins on 1 January 2027 for in-scope businesses and transactions.

Does UAE E-Invoicing apply to companies below AED 50 million?

Yes, if the business and its transactions are in scope. Revenue below AED 50 million determines the later business timetable; it is not, by itself, an exemption. B2B and B2G transactions are generally covered, subject to the stated exclusions. The revenue threshold is annual business revenue, not invoice count.
